Firstly, I cannot believe how many abandoned yellow school buses there are ! I've spotted them in fields, in farmyards, next to river creeks, in gardens, etc, etc. I must have seen at least 50 abandoned, rusty yellow school buses.
One thing that outnumbers the buses, is the number of churches ! They have been amazing, run-down, made out of corrugated iron, timber, brick, they've been in the middle of fields, 10's of miles from the nearest houses!
I even saw a sign outside one church (in a tiny village, miles from anywhere), that read ' ATM inside' - I guess there is no excuse for not contributing to the church collection :-)
